If I transpose within Trillian, then the E1 conflicts with Trillians Keyswitches. I thought E2 was supposed to be one ledger line below the Bass Clef staff? Is there a better way to approach this? What do I transpose? I want Dorico to place E2 one ledger line below the staff. Workspace controls can respond to four types of MIDI messages: Note On, Note Off, Program Change, and Control Change. When I enter notes into Dorico using the controller, it places E2 in the staff (3rd space up). Also, Trillian plays the low bass E with this E2. The lowest note is a C upon a MIDI controller (as opposed to an A upon an acoustic piano). (Consequently, A MIDI controller has a wider range of notes - ie, more octaves of notes - than even an acoustic piano). Using MIDI monitor, I see that my controller is sending E2. A MIDI controller (be it a piano-like keyboard, a MIDI guitar, a MIDI drum kit, etc) can have upto 128 distinct pitches/notes. Of course I can transpose Trillian inside the software, I can also transpose my keyboard controller up or down as well. This is like a complex math problem for me. Kontakt Factory Scripts includes a transform script Note Numbers to CC that allows you to transforms MIDI note numbers directly into CC controller numbers. I’m not quite sure where E2 is in Dorico’s staff, but it seems like it wants to be E1, so I can’t have it play the low E note because it is also a Keyswitch. You can use this list to set up your MIDI controller and manipulate your MIDI data in all different kind of ways to make your music more expressive. When a note is played, all leds will be the same color. The problem is that open E on the bass is triggered by an E2 within Trillian. I would like to have the color of leds change based on the note played. I’ve got them working fine with higher notes.

They are assigned to E1, F1, F#1, G1 etc… so that they stay out of the useable notes (open low E is E2 in Trillian). The have Gliss Up, Harmonics, Slide Up, Slide Down etc. Click and drag vertically in the note ruler to change which octaves are shown, or drag horizontally to change the vertical zoom size of MIDI notes and the. I am trying to setup Spectrasonics Trillian Expression Maps.

I’m not really sure how to describe my issue, but hopefully someone here might have some advice.
